Hana RFID has been recognized with the 2025 Allan Gilligan Award by AIM Global, celebrating the company\u2019s leadership, innovation, and collaboration in shaping the future of AIDC and digital traceability.<\/p>\n

According to the AIM<\/a> Award judges, \u201cThe judges felt Hana RFID was a worthy recipient for the Allan Gilligan Award because the company embodies the very qualities the award was created to recognize with the visionary innovations in tire-tagging, long-term technical leadership, and cross-industry collaboration in advancing automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) within supply chain logistics.\u201d<\/p>\n

This recognition highlights Hana RFID\u2019s pioneering role in embeddable RFID tire tagging, an innovation that enables individual tire identification for improved traceability, safety, and sustainability. The company\u2019s early focus on tire lifecycle management and European Product Passport readiness has positioned Hana as a trusted partner to global tire manufacturers and mobility ecosystems.<\/p>\n

\u201cAIM is happy to announce Hana RFID as the Allan Gilligan Award winner for 2025,\u201d said Mary Lou Bosco<\/a>, CEO at AIM Global. \u201cHana RFID anticipated the needs of the tire and automotive sectors years before global regulations required digital traceability. Their early investment in embeddable RFID tags for tires laid the groundwork for individual tire identification, which is now central to global initiatives.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Michael Allen,<\/a> who personally presented the award to Hana RFID during his visit to the company\u2019s Solon, Ohio headquarters, commented: \u201cI was grateful to get the opportunity to tour the impressive Hana facility in Solon, Ohio, and see the state-of-the-art facility in action. Watching firsthand the development of modern tire logistics at the ground level gave me an added level of appreciation to the work Hana does on a daily basis.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Allan Gilligan Award was established in 2012 to honor Allan Gilligan, a visionary in the development of global supply chain standards. It is presented annually to an individual or organization that has made outstanding contributions to advancing AIDC applications in materials handling and logistics.<\/p>\n

Receiving the award on behalf of Hana RFID, John Erdmann, President and CEO, expressed his gratitude and reinforced Hana\u2019s commitment to advancing the RFID industry:<\/p>\n
